My name is George Hathway. I´m an oil painter, choosing to paint canvases typically just over a metre in diameter. I paint figurative scenes which, though representational, often incorporate imaginative characters.
I have an undergraduate degree in Painting from The National Art School in Sydney and a Masters of Fine Art from Central St Martins in London. I spend my time largely in Europe and Australia, and have been based in London for the past 8 years.
